By attaching your Stripe Account to your plug&paid shopping cart(s) you can accept payments from all the major credit card providers such as Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

Note: "Country" refers to your Stripe's account registered country. For example if your Stripe account is registered in Switzerland you will not be able to accept payments from American Express cards regardless of your plug&paid account country.
Anyone who accepts credit card payments must be in compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). Stripe is audited by an independent PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and is certified as a PCI Level 1 Service Provider.

We use Stripe.js & elements integration to offer credit card payments to our merchants. This passes all the compliance heavy lifting directly to Stripe. Using this approach the customer's credit card information is validated and securely transmitted directly to Stripe without it passing through our servers.
